Onyx Coffee Advent Calendar - I was gifted the onyx advent calendar last year and enjoyed it. I’ve got a lot of xmas coffee — have several really good looking geshas offered by separate roasters — but only did one actual advent calendar, the one from coffee collective. The vast majority of the coffees are light roast as is typical with onyx with a good variety from different regions and processing. Hey not sure if this is too late, but onyx has all of the tasting notes in the description of their youtube video about the advent calendar here. V60 used for all brews. 2020 has a been a rough year for me as for many people. Got the onyx advent calendar for our 3rd year in a row now.
Onyx advent calendar thoughts i really feel like scrooge posting this on christmas, but i'm just sitting here with my thoughts and thought someone might appreciate them and/or feel less crazy that they weren't impressed on the $175+ they spent for 48 oz of coffee. Coffee collective’s calendar has four separate 200g doses of coffee, three geshas and an anaerobically processed ethiopian natural. I thought i would do something nice for the holidays as a treat to myself and got an onyx coffee advent calendar. I've created my own spreadsheet with grades for each coffee. I'm a huge fan of onyx and order from them often, despite the high prices and things like the recent change to smaller packages while raising the price.

Most likely won't do it (or any other) again this year because (1) 50g is a little too cute of an amount for me and (2) the unit cost is just too hard to justify.
